Lovely Books

I know most of us have already got this book ..... but it is delightful so!

I am enjoying a snow day .... with lots of cups of tea.

I was going to treat myself to this book last year. But knew that the person who knew me the most would get it me as a Christmas gift.

My sister brought it me.

Sadly one of our chickens died yesterday. He couldn't with stand the drop in temperature.

My friend Jill gave me the powers to move the body out of the cage but standing and holding my hand.

Another perfect book.

This time from my husband.

So many ideas and all achievable!

I love my husband. I love my sister. I love my friend. R.I.P Black Chicken.

  1. Sorry to hear about the poor chicken. We used to keep guinea pigs until I couldn't bear to keep them outside in the cold weather and ended up with them indoors! So sad when they die.
Lovely books - I bought 'Quilting in No Time' for my daughter at Christmas - and 'Crochet in No Time' for my other daughter! A bit of a crafty family!

  9. Oh no I'm so sorry about little black chicken - I showed my hubby your blog when I started following you and we were having huge discussions about keeping chickens (which we havent...yet!!) so not only did you inspire my bunting but my need for a chicken. :-) Loving your books I'm always a bit late to the party so I havent got the granny chic book - but squeel look at the caravan!!! My Rosie could look so good - I've got the other version of the other book - sewing in no time and it is very good for beginners. Hope you are ok xxx
